Terms of Service

Last updated: June 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DOOD, operated by DOOD ("DOOD," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website at textdood.com and related applications and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.

2. The Service

DOOD is an accountability and planning tool that helps you organize your calendar, tasks, goals, streaks, and reminders. Features may include AI-assisted scheduling, integrations with third-party apps, notifications through channels such as Discord or SMS, and paid premium features.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Some features may be labeled beta, early access, or preview and may be less reliable or available only to selected users.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at doodsupport@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or legal risk.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
  • Attempt to access, probe, or interfere with systems, accounts, or data you are not authorized to access;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law;
  • Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited messages or harass others through connected messaging channels;
  • Circumvent usage limits, payment requirements, or access controls.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including calendar entries, tasks, goals, and prompts ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transmit User Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service, including AI-assisted features and integrations you enable.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.

6. AI features

The Service may use artificial intelligence to generate scheduling suggestions, summaries, or other outputs. AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before accepting them and for how you use the Service.

DOOD does not provide medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the Service for emergency or safety-critical decisions.

7. Integrations and third-party services

The Service may connect to third-party platforms such as Google Calendar, Discord, SMS providers, or other services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, or data practices.

You authorize us to access and process data from connected integrations as needed to provide the features you enable. You can disconnect integrations through the Service where available.

8. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Some features require payment. Prices, plans, and billing intervals are shown at checkout or in the Service. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method.

Recurring subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the billing portal or account settings where available.

Lifetime or one-time purchases grant access according to the plan description at the time of purchase and may be subject to fair-use limits or feature changes over time.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started or a one-time purchase has been delivered. If you believe you were charged in error, contact doodsupport@gmail.com within 14 days.

We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice. Price changes do not apply retroactively to the current paid period.

9. Beta and experimental features

Beta or preview features are provided "as is" and may change, break, or be discontinued without notice. They may process or store data differently from generally available features. Use them at your own risk.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation (excluding User Content), is owned by DOOD and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service except as expressly permitted.

11. Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account or data through available account tools. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or where required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute terms.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOOD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DOOD and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

16. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

Except for claims that may be brought in small claims court or for injunctive relief, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You and we waive any right to a jury trial.

If arbitration is not enforceable where you live, disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes take effect no sooner than 30 days after posting unless required sooner by law or for security reasons. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

18. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and Vinland Labs regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer.
