Want to help build DOOD ?

DOOD is a calendar for people who mean it when they say “tomorrow.” We combine AI-assisted planning, daily reminders, and integrations so your schedule reflects your intentions — not just your optimism. If that mission clicks, we’d love to hear from you.

Engineering · Internship

Software / AI Engineering Intern

Ship features that turn natural language into real calendar blocks — and make AI suggestions safe, fast, and trustworthy.

Get in touch on our discord

DOOD helps people stop drifting through their days. Users describe what they want to accomplish, and our assistant proposes time-blocked events they can accept or decline before anything hits their calendar. You’ll work across our Next.js app, Supabase auth, FullCalendar UI, and the AI routes that parse intent into structured schedules.

Expect to improve prompt reliability, latency, and guardrails; wire new integrations (Discord, Google Calendar, and more); and fix the small UX details that make accountability feel effortless rather than preachy.

You should be comfortable in TypeScript/React, curious about LLM tool-calling and evaluation, and excited to own tickets end-to-end — from PR to watching real users plan their mornings with what you built.

Who thrives here: CS or related students (or recent grads) who’ve shipped at least one web project and want hands-on startup experience on product-facing AI.

Marketing · Internship

UGC / Content / Marketing Intern

Create short-form content that shows how real people plan their day, stick to it, and recover when life gets messy.

DOOD’s story is simple to demo and hard to ignore: type what you want, get a schedule, get reminded, stay honest with yourself. Your job is to turn that loop into scroll-stopping UGC — TikTok, Reels, Shorts — aimed at students, founders, and anyone who’s tired of optimistic to-do lists that never survive past noon.

You’ll script hooks around “plan my day,” streak culture, integration callouts, and before/after scheduling chaos; film or direct creators; and iterate based on what actually drives signups and retention, not vanity views.

We’ll give you product access, brand tone (“Day one or one day”), and freedom to test angles — study productivity, founder grind, ADHD-friendly planning, exam season, etc. — as long as it’s authentic to how DOOD works.

Who thrives here: Creators or marketing students with a portfolio of short-form video and a genuine interest in productivity, habits, or student/founder life.

Leadership · Equity

Co-founder

Help define and build the company behind the calendar that turns “one day” into day one.

We’re early. The wedge is clear: most calendar apps store events; DOOD helps people follow through — AI-assisted planning, daily nudges, streaks, and channels like Discord where accountability already lives.

We’re looking for a co-founder who complements the current team — whether that’s growth, design, GTM, or deep technical architecture — and who cares about behavior change, not just another SaaS dashboard.

You’d shape product roadmap (premium tiers, planning chat, integrations), talk to users weekly, and make high-agency decisions on positioning, partnerships, and what “accountability” should feel like in 2026.

This is a serious equity conversation for someone ready to operate as a builder, not an advisor.

Who thrives here: Operators with 0→1 experience who’ve felt the problem personally and want to own a category, not optimize someone else’s roadmap.

Capital · Advisory

Angel Investor

Back an accountability-first calendar at the intersection of AI scheduling, notifications, and everyday follow-through.

Calendar and productivity are crowded — but most tools assume discipline is already there. DOOD meets people where motivation breaks: translating intent into a concrete day, reinforcing it with messages and integrations, and giving premium users AI planning and deeper workflow hooks.

We’re building toward recurring revenue (subscription + lifetime), viral loops through content and community channels, and a technical moat in reliable AI-to-calendar execution — not generic chat wrapped in a grid UI.

We’re open to angels who’ve backed consumer SaaS, prosumer productivity, or AI-native workflows and who can open doors (distribution, hiring, GTM intros) in addition to capital.

Who thrives here: Angels who invest in pre-seed/seed tools for knowledge workers and want strategic involvement, not a passive check.
